Honestly, I think Gillespie is trying to recreate a type of basketball that hasn't been played in lexington in a long time...By that I mean, he refuses to play zone, it's all man to man and that requires a tremendous amount of conditioning that specifically Crawford and Bradley are not used to...meaning we have no leadership on the team. Meeks and Jasper will be fine once they are healthy and the freshman are already on board. It is going to take some time but I honestly believe this guy is going to make KY basketball special again. It takes really smart and well prepared players to stick to man to man for 40 min and we are a very young team right now. All in good time...just like Heinz 57.
